Pounds to Pocket and Your New Year Budget
Thursday, December 30th, 2010Your Pounds to Pocket personal loan family, like you, is ready for 2011. Before we charge into the new year, our Pounds to Pocket personal loan teammates want to remind everyone to “get back to their financial basics.” After a month of giving, and spending, it is very easy to stray from our normal budget. Here are three “financial reminders” to start 2011 off on the right track.
- Spending Plan – This is not your budget. A spending plan is a rough prediction of where you see your money in 2011, 2012, and (hopefully) 2013. Think of this as a New Years Resolution for your budget.
- Track – As we said, after a month of giving (spending), you may have lost sight of your budget and goals. Use January to get back to your financial basics and track all the money you spend. You will quickly be able to see, once again, where your budget needs some “love.”
- Allowance – Your Pounds to Pocket personal loans family believes in the adult allowance. Withdraw a set amount of money each month, just for you. Having a set amount of money will actually make you less likely to stray from your budget, as you will not be using a credit card.
