Wondering How Much You'll Actually Save?
If your loan has a simple interest rate of 145% and you refer a friend, then your simple interest rate would be 130.50% (145% x .9 = 130.50%). You refer a friend and earn another 10% discount off that already discounted rate for a discounted simple interest rate of 117.45% (130.5% x .9 = 117.45%).
That's a total of 19% off your original simple interest rate. Not so simple, but still great savings!
Terms and Conditions
Pounds to Pocket reserves the right to discontinue and/or adjust the terms of this programme without notice. Pounds to Pocket reserves the right to revoke discounts due to past due balances and/or other actions that adversely affect a customer's standing with Pounds to Pocket. Employees of Pounds to Pocket are not eligible to participate in the referral programme. The referral programme is void where prohibited or unlawful. In addition to our rights to process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, you agree that we may disclose your name to your friend. We may also tell your friend that they were referred to us by you.
For each successful referral, you will receive a 10% discount on the simple interest rate applied to your next personal loan. Multiple referral rewards can be applied to the same Pounds to Pocket transaction. For example, your first 10% discount would be applied to the full interest amount and the second 10% discount would then be applied to the reduced interest after the first discount. If you have earned more than two referral rewards, please contact our Customer Service team at 0800 635 0841 to determine your total discount.
1A friend will be deemed to have been successfully referred for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions if: The referred friend is not already a Pounds to Pocket customer and the referred friend applies for and receives a Pounds to Pocket loan.
If the Referee withdraws from the loan before they are approved or the Referee was declined in the past, then the Referrer does not receive the 10% discount.
After your referred friend has successfully entered into a transaction with Pounds to Pocket, it may take up to 72 hours for the referral rewards to be posted to your account. All referral rewards will be automatically applied to your next Pounds to Pocket personal loan. Each referral reward is valid for 2 years from the time it is posted to your account and is valid only once. If a referral reward is not used within 2 years, it is forfeited. Referral rewards are nontransferable. For each friend you refer, you are eligible to receive only one reward.
Please note: If you decide to refer a friend, Pounds to Pocket will automatically send an email to your friend. Your name will be in the title of the email to alert your friend that he or she is being invited to participate in the Pounds to Pocket referral programme. Your referred friend must apply using the link included in the email sent to your friend. If your friend applies without using the link, Pounds to Pocket will not be able to verify the referral, and you will not receive a reward for that referral. In order to receive the 10% discount, your referred friend must enter their promo code when prompted. Pounds to Pocket is not responsible for any bank fees (late fees, NSF fees) incurred from a misapplied discount.
